VDR Business Travel Report Germany 2005

Business Travel Association of Germany looks at cost reduction potentials

 

Frankfurt, Germany (April 13, 2005) -- VDR, The Business Travel Association of Germany, announced the commissioning of the “VDR Business Travel Report Germany 2005”. The association will produce this annual industry report for the third time. Last year, according to the “VDR Business Travel Report Germany 2004,” the cost of job-induced mobility and travel in Germany was more than € 120 billion annually. MOREà

 

This year, the report will focus in more detail on the airline sector. Travel agents’ service fees and security measures are also among the main topics of the survey. The report will identify current cost reduction potentials as well.

 

The results of the “VDR Business Travel Report Germany 2005” will be presented September 19, 2005 in Berlin.

 

As in the last two years, BearingPoint, the business consulting and systems integration firm, is in charge of all analytical aspects, reporting, and organisational control of the project.
